About me
I’m Fatima, a lifelong learner of anthropology and an enthusiastic researcher.
My work revolves around exploring the unseen dimensions of belief, healing, and spiritual practices across cultures. I’m particularly fascinated by shamanistic traditions in Central Asia and healing rituals that intertwine culture, identity, and community.
My research has taken me to remote communities where I’ve observed how ancient traditions persist in shaping people’s understanding of illness, healing, and the unseen forces that influence their lives. Through these journeys, I’ve come to realize that healing is not merely a physical act—it’s a social and cultural experience that reflects deeper worldviews.
Anthrotima is where I bring these reflections together.
Here, I share not only the findings from my research but also my personal reflections on contemporary issues viewed through an anthropological lens. From exploring the resilience of cultural traditions to analyzing how modernity reshapes belief systems, I invite you to join me on this journey of inquiry and discovery.
